The water skiing at JBSki differs from most other clubs and centres in the UK because it is not necessary to take out a membership to get out on the water. You just book in and get out there! You can ski either on the Cable Tow or Boat and we teach beginners on both. Because of our teaching systems your progress will be rapid and you will soon move on to one ski. However the Cable Tow is limited to 30kph (18mph) so once you have mastered the basics on two skis it is better to ski behind a boat. As a result nearly all the skiing at JBSki is done behind the boats.

We want you to improve and become a better skier so we have put in well tried JBWA teaching systems that guarantee maximum improvement for your time on the water. We also make it really easy for you to get on the water as we run an industry leading on line booking system so that, once registered, you can just log on and book your sessions, even alter or cancel times if your arrangements change. We also offer a block booking arrangement so you can book all your skis at the beginning of the season if you want regular sessions. There is a membership and cheaper session charges available for regular customers.

Our boats are all Correct Crafts, the boat that pulls the World Championships, and they run on three lakes, The Arena, Timms and St Annes. Each lake has a slalom course for those skiers who want to progress to this challenge or indeed just want to improve their skiing. Our drivers are recruited for their driving standards and teaching abilities and will offer coaching every time you go out on to the water.

The quality continues with the lakes you ski on. The Arena is rated as one of the best ski lakes in the World, having hosted two World Championships. The British Team use it as their training base and it is the annual venue for the National Championships so there is always some great skiing going on if you need inspiring! With graded banks to minimise wash every pass will count and offer you the opportunity to improve and really enjoy your time on the water.

Timms offers a secluded feel and calm waters in an idyllic setting. The slalom course is to competition standards and, like all our Correct Craft boats, the Timms craft has the latest speed control system to ensure an accurate tow. St Annes is popular with intermediates and those progressing to the slalom course with its open water in the lee of St Annes hill.
