Our kids programmes and activities are an excellent way for children to learn the basics of wakeboarding or water skiing or just to get out on the water with one of the rides. We offer group and individual lessons as well as group coaching and development programmes and kids parties.

Kids Club

Our Kids Club runs on the Cable Tow and is aimed at 5 to 15 year olds, being split in to three groups:

• First Timers
• Kids Club
• Development Squad

The programme runs throughout the summer at the weekends and extends to Tuesdays and Thursdays in the summer holidays - please check our activities calendar for the full details on sessions dates and times.

The kids benefit from learning with others and the first timers and kids club sessions run at their own dedicated times when the cable is set at a slower speed and a rescue boat on the water.

The kids are soon progressing and we run a later session, development squad, for more advanced riders when there is also video coaching available. The sessions also employ the latest Headzone radio link teaching helmets for maximum progression.

All three programmes run the British Water Ski Cutting Edge development programme which is supported by certificates and stickers as the kids progress through the grades.

These sessions have introduced thousands of youngsters to the sport and are recognised as one of the most successful kids programmes in Europe with kids who learnt on the programmes now in the British Cable Wakeboard Team and winning World and European titles.

Kids Boat Lessons

These are run for both water skiing and wakeboarding when youngsters can benefit from dedicated one to one tuition with our instructors who are taught specifically how to introduce children to these sports. A course format is followed with a special two session course to maximise their energy and attention. There is an hour's break between sessions when the children can ride in the boat and watch others.

Birthday Parties

Make it that special Birthday Party to remember with the JBSki Children's Party Packages. These parties are totally different with the children skimming over the water riding the banana and ringos and then also learning a new sport as they are taught how to knee board in our beginners ski school. We have experienced instructors who are used to working with children and the lakeside setting also offers a play area and volleyball court, if they still have enough energy when they come off the water.

Any non swimmers ride in the boat to also experience the fun and parents are welcome to ride along to take photos and video.

The parties are for either 8 or 12 children and include invitations, T shirt for the birthday boy or girl and last for up to 2 hours (12 children)
